- Peaceful protest for efficient residence legalisation
The Gdańsk-based initiative Tu Żyjemy ("We live here") — foreigners who live and work in the Pomeranian region — is organising a protest against months-long waiting times in residence legalisation procedures. Their cases, like ours in Warsaw, stall for many months without explanation.
The initiative presents 16 concrete postulates to the office, including faster case processing, transparent communication and respect for the deadlines set by the Code of Administrative Procedure. We support their demands — the problem of delays is nationwide, and only joint pressure in every voivodeship can change it.
